  You don't know me, but I want to warn you that you will not be happy at this apartment community. I don't want you to suffer by their fake facade. They have trouble keeping employees because of the poor treatment by the owners and the people running the company. The owners let their family run the business and it proves "just because you're family, doesn't mean you fit the job of running the business." They are terrible with people skills (fake to residents, and bad to employees) In fact, they talk poorly about the residents behind their backs more often than you'd think.
  The clubhouse was rebuilt after a fire. It was done so poorly that it's a wonder it passed inspection. I was there, I saw all the mistakes and the shortcuts. The roof is the only thing that I can say was well done. The new office assistant, Wendy, is clueless and, I am trying to resist saying this, stupid. She needs much more training in even basic conversation skills.
  It's also a fact that bedbugs were a big problem, they allowed a hoarder to stay (risking a fire and harm neighboring residents) and a man had died there and found after 2 weeks! They refused to tell the new occupant that the stench from her place was the result of a dead body. I guess you can't blame them for not publicizing it, but when she asked, they needed to be honest with her.
  Oh, there are many more stories to tell, but this should suffice for now. Good luck to you if you decide to move to Brookwood. It will not be a good choice and only lead to frustration. Unless they get someone in there with some business... and people skills.
